Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

Haaa, I never knew something so simple could be so delicious.. and in comes a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. HELLO.




PHILLY CHEESESTEAK SANDWICH

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 soft buns

  • 1 tbsp mayo, on each sandwich

 

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 1 green pepper, sliced thin

  • 1/2 onion, sliced thin

  • salt & pepper to taste

 

  • 1 lb beef, sliced as thin as possible

  • sprinkle of steak spice

  • salt & pepper to taste

  • 6-8 slices provolone

 


PREP. TIME: 10 MIN   |   COOK TIME: 15 MINS   |   SERVES: 4

 

DIRECTIONS

 

Set pan on medium heat, once hot add olive oil, sliced peppers and sliced onion, salt & pepper. Let cook until just soft. Set aside.

 

Slice beef as thin as possible add to the same pan, and cook until just done, seasoning with steak spice, salt & pepper.

 

Cut buns in half, spread 1/2 the mayo on the buns, toast in a pan then add the rest of the mayo.

 

Add peppers back to the pan with the meat, separate into 4 piles, top with provolone and set a lid on to melt cheese.

 

Scoop onto bun and enjoy!
