INGREDIENTS
450g steak, thinly sliced
600g or 3 medium/large potatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
Sprinkle of steak spice
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper
½ lb mushrooms, sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
¾ onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper
60g cheddar, shredded
Franks, optional but not optional because it's DELICIOUS
DIRECTIONS
Set the oven to 425.
Take beef out of the fridge and let sit at room temp while you prepare everything else.
Cut potatoes into fry shape. Set into a bowl of cold water while the oven preheats. Once preheated, strain, dry potatoes off with a kitchen towel. And add back to the dry bowl. Drizzle with 1 tbsp of olive oil, steak seasoning and salt & pepper.
Lay a sheet pan down with parchment paper on it. Spread potatoes out evenly. Bake for 20 minutes, flip and cook for another 15 minutes.
Prepage vegetables, add them to the same bowl the potatoes were in. Drizzle with oil, salt & pepper.
Lay a separate sheet pan down with parchment paper on it. Spread vegetables out evenly. Bake for as long as the time is left for potatoes. (making it easy on ya). Should be about 20-25 minutes.
While the potatoes and vegetables are cooking, start on the steak. Cut the raw steak into thin strips, making sure to cut against the grain. (example under ingredients).
Get a cast iron pan hot and add the steak and steak or chicken seasoning, cook until nice n charred on one side then flip and cook for another couple minutes. It’ll be quick. 5 minutes overall.
Lay potatoes down in an oven safe bowl, top with vegetables & then with the steak. Top with cheddar and broil, then top with franks!
For meal prep, divide everything into 3 containers and microwave together!
